Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn in a worn and lightly soiled dust jacket with chips at upper spine and several closed tears mended with tape from within. Jacket is intact and now protected in mylar.

New York: American Book Company, 1936 Very Good-/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Blue cloth, gilt title and spine. Frontis portrait of Cooper. Spine moderately-to-heavily sunned. Small amount of very light pencil underlining in first part of book, along with few faint puckers and few small closed tears; otherwise clean and tight.

Inside front cover bears 2" x 3" area of scarring apparently to remove prior owner name. Occasional faint smudging to some text margins; otherwise clean and intact.

Prior owner name, date in pencil on front endpaper. Occasional light brownstaining/foxing to first several pages; otherwise clean and tight.

New York: McGraw-Hill Book Company, Inc., 1955 Good+/Fair-. First Edition. The author "weaves from the pages of Biblical history a titanic story of power, pride, evil, and good." INSCRIBED and dated by the author on front endpaper. Moderate rubbing and browning to cover extremities and margins. Front dust jacket panel ( Jezebel as '50s-style vamp) still bright and colorful, but all dust jacket edges are heavily worn and Scotch-brand tape-repaired.

With six black-and-white illustrations within the text, including frontispiece. Advertisements for other publications by this publisher in rear. Light cover edgewear. Sunning to cover cloth has resulted in moderately browned spine and margins. Neat prior owner name and date on front endpaper. Small (2" x 1/4" half-moon damp stain at lower edge of title and Contents pages. Otherwise clean and tight.

Dust jacket lightly-to-moderately edgeworn, with 1" closed tear at top spine where it meets cover, and 1/2" closed tear at top rear dj panel; faint scuffing to dj. Otherwise clean and tight. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall

Greenwich, Connecticut: Cherry Lane Music Co., Inc., 1973 Music and lyrics for title song, six other songs, and the five-part piece "Season Suite." With a variety of sepia-tone photographic portraits of Denver and mountain scenery preceding the music. The book is intact, with moderate edgewear and scuffing. Spine is readable but creased, rubbed, and chipped. There is no soil per se. Unfortunately it was exposed to dampness and the front cover shows irregular moderate patches of pink pigment that has bled onto the cover. A couple of small rough stains on the cover have created scars. Irregular moderate color bleeding and dampstaining occurs throughout the book, diminishing gradually from front to back but never totally disappearing. Dampstaining predominantly pale pink and at upper center corners alongside binding. Still with a solid binding and music and text all clear. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall

New York: W.W. Norton & Company, 1955 About life in 18th and 19th century New Hampshire. The Foreword includes references to Harvard Forest's museum dioramas (Petersham, MA) showing land use changes as New England was settled. With many line drawings. Neat prior owner name and date in blue ink on inside front cover. Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn in a moderately edgeworn dust jacket. One-inch closed tear at lower rear panel of jacket has been mended inside with archival tape.

Chicago: The J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies, 1989 Light card covers; 174 pages + single page advertisement in rear and journal details printed on inside covers. In the opening Editorial, Swords states: "This volume marks the beginning of a new enterprise under an old name." This volume includes three articles: "Hypnosis and UFO Abductions: A Troubled Relationship by Thomas E. Bullard; "The Delphos Case: Soil Analysis and Appraisal of a CE-2 Report" by Erol A. Faruk; "Science and the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis in Ufology" by Michael D. Swords. Following is a lengthy "Issues Forum" segment on UFO abductions (pp. 104-167) and two book reviews. Spine moderately sunned. Clean, tight, and only faintly worn.
