Fourteen volume set of Shakespeare is in the original red cloth box, cloth hinge is broken, top only has two sides and corner is broken, scratched paper on the interior, cloth has age damage as well. The same red cloth was used to bind the books and in the box. The books have a little rubbing at the heads/tails of spine, I saw one weak hinge. The books measure 4.25x7, the box measures 7.5x10x4.5. There is no publication date in the books, probably early 20th century. Box lid calls the set "The Ideal Handy Volume Shakespeare," the books are entitled "The Works of William Shakespeare." The books and box say this is a thirteen volume set, the additional volume is entitled "His Life and Times," it is bound in the same fashion and matches the set. There is a pen name on front endpaper of the bio.
