Attractive wall poster, featuring a three-quarter profile view of Malcolm X, rendered to appear screen-printed, with quote taken from Malcolm's January, 1965 appearance on the Canadian talk program "The Pierre Berton Show." The poster is undated; Northern Sun Merchandising, a Minneapolis-based manufacturer and retailer of politically-themed gifts and graphics, was founded in 1979 and we would date this poster to the mid-80s to the mid-90s.

Staple-bound pamphlet; illustrated card wrappers; 23pp. Presentation copy, inscribed by Edith Segal in October, 1953: "To Lil, Moishe, & Paul, warmest regards and heads up - Edith." Moderate cover wear; mild soiling within; Very Good. A collection of Segal's proletarian hymns, following her widely-issued "Give Us Your Hand," which had been issued the year before to raise money for Ethel and Julius Rosenberg's defense fund. The current volume contains a number of memorial poems to the Rosenbergs, but is composed primarily of works on the theme of Morton Sobell, an accused Soviet spy who had been swept up in the course of the Rosenberg affair. We have beeen unsuccessful in identifying "Lil, Moishe, and Paul," but from the tenor of Segal's inscription we would assume some connection to Sobell.

Burrus has also been a tennis pro and dramatist, and lives in Houston but took his MFA at Vermont College. Great photo images interspersed among poems.

Mark Kellogg was a newspaper reporter who provided the only press coverage of General Custer and his forces in the run-up to the Battle of the Little Bighorn. He was killed in the battle along with Custer and his men, becoming the first Associated Press correspondent to die in the line of duty. [63609].

Book by a young African-American reporter who spent a year traveling as an itinerant laborer in the American South. He concludes: "...economics is the great controller. Economics is money is power is white. The paycheck is a more powerful controller than a hundred vicious dogs, and the whites still have the power to strangle us or let us breathe.

This bulletin issued shortly after the temporary transfer of the Organization's world headquarters from Geneva to Montreal, the result of wartime instability in continental Europe.
