Apparently Stanley Noble's copy with his name in pencil on rear fixed e/p. Scarce edition.

Inscription in ink on front free end paper dated 1879. Occasional blotchy foxing to some pages but much less so than usual. Superb 19th century full morocco binding signed 'Riviere' with gilt decorations on covers and raised bands on the spine and gilt lined edges all round. a.e.g. A lovely copy of an essential 1860's gift book.
