Number 935 of 1000 copies, this copy is signed by the author. A presentation inscription commemorates the recipient's ('Roly') 88th birthday, and goes on to remark that the author was one of Roly's 'many friends'.

A thin card (115 × 137 mm), printed recto only. Card a little marked, with two horizontal creases (possibly lacking a portion across the top); nonetheless, in good condition. On this day, HMT 'Ivernia', formerly SS 'Ivernia' (a British ocean liner owned by the Cunard Line until August 1914 when she was hired by HM Government), was en route from Alexandria to Marseille. Less than seven months later, travelling from Marseille to Alexandria on New Years Day 1917 with 2,400 British troops on board, she was torpedoed off Cape Matapan, Greece, by German submarine UB-47. Thirty-six crew members and eighty-five troops were killed.

The leaflet is folded horizontally, with a few light creases elsewhere, and occasional light foxing; overall, in very good condition. Not surprisingly, we can find no record of this most ephemeral item. 'Pte C. Spencer Smith' is written at the head of the first page. The service record of 55891 Cecil Spencer Smith indicates that he hailed from the Adelaide suburb of Hindmarsh, enlisted on 8 February 1918, 'Embarked for Active Service ... HMAT "Orontes" Sydney 5-6-18 Disembarked Liverpool 11-8-18'. This Final Reunion must have been quite a party; all nine entertainments listed on the programme are preceded by a toast. Loosely inserted are five original black and white snapshot-sized photographs of HCC teams (only one of which is reproduced in the book) with an inscribed note attached to four of them, identifying the year and the players (for the record, those teams are: 1954, 1964-1965, 1965, 1971-1972 and 1972-1973).
