Clean, tight cover, sharp corners. Front hinge a bit stretched. Front endpapers tanned (offset from old newspaper clippings); pages clean, unmarked, mildly age-toned. The church was formed in 1639 with seven 'pillars', most of whom migrated to other areas in the next decades: Theophilus Eaton, John Davenport, Robert Newman, Matthew Gilbert, Thomas Fugill (excommunicated!), John Punderson, and Jeremy Dixon. Notations of interest to genealogist and historians are comments 'dismissed' and the year and in many cases where the member resettled.
