Description:
When Wells published his autobiography, he omitted the details of his many love affairs. This book, edited by his son, is an addendum that describes in some detail the several principal loves of his life, including one of his wives, although it only mentions in passing the many brief encounters with women that appear to have been nearly constant.

Description:
Although some previous owner used the book as a coaster, and there are stray pencil marks and even a short comment about one poem in ink, and the spine is faded, this is still a desirable copy for a fan of Ogden Nash's work--Happy Days was his third book. The cartoons by Soglow are worth the price of the book alone (and are all complete and unmarked). You may be surprised to discover an entire song with its piano score--lyrics by Nash, music by Robert Armbruster.

London: E. & F. Spon, 1`878. First edition. Rebound in bright green hardcover . Fine. A pamphlet published for the Entlish commiitee of holders of Alabama 8% gold, including a map of the Alabama Great Southern Railroad. This was a promotional pamphlet describing the state's economy, transsportation, government, finances, and so forth. It has been identified as one of the rarest of its type. This copy is ex-library, although I can't identify the library, which classified it as F326.C8 and also has "London 1878" on the spine of the hardcover binding. As rebound, it is slightly cocked and the front cover is loose from the rest of the pamphlet.
