Samuel Lowe, 1954 A Bonnie Jack-in-the-Box book, with gabby's head and legs folded inside front cover. His head and legs pivot open to reveal Gabby wearing different outfits depending on which page is open. There is a nick the spine covering and two lightly bumped corners, internally fine.

Freidenker, 1900 book bound in cloth over paper boards with an illustration of boys playing a ball game similar to volleyball on the front cover. There are 35 numbered pages with the last 1 1/2 pages being ads, then an unnumbered contents page for 36 total pages. Most of the games listed would be unknown to those alive today and most are some sort of ball game. This would be a valuable tool to someone studying sports history or children's games. Covers are edge worn and there is a quite faint tide line. This is a rare book with WorldCat locating 13 copies in book form.

Cincinnati: Curtis & Jennings, 1900 Bound in bright black cloth with bright gilt titles, 552 pp.This is the story of a Methodist itinerant minister who spent fifty-five years in the field.
toward the end are two chapters on Temperance, one with the movement in Cincinnati. Book is largely unread, front cover the slightest bit rubbed. Inside of front cover are two stamps for a hospital library.

London : Herbert Jenkins, 1966 Bound in navy blue cloth with gilt titles, 168 pp. Nice clean copy with numerous illustrations. Jacket with modest wear to extremities and three small closed tears.

Viking, 1971 Preface by Salvador Dali. Jacket is price clipped and has light wrinkles at the spine extremities, front endpaper has light foxing, and foreedge of text block has some smudges [not visible when opened].

Chicago, 1889 This is a history of the Catholic Church in Chicago from 1833 to 1889 and is written in German. Book is bound in teal colored cloth with gilt titles, aeg. There is slight bubbling to the front cover and shelfwear. This copy is es-seminary library. Book consists of 222 pages plus 24 pages of Chicago ads in back.

Whiporwill, 1987 Bound in brown cloth with gilt titles, 988 pp. This is a facsimile reprint of the 1911 first edition. There is a scuff mark to thespine, else a nice, sharp, clean and tight copy.

Mail-Journal Publishing Co., 1971 Bound in pebbled black cloth with gilt titles. A good solid copy but with ink writing on several pages and genealogical notes laid in.

J. J. Wheeler, 1902 This is a 120 page book bound in blind stamped brown cloth with gilt titles. The front cover has water spots. The title is quite bright as are the pages. Perhaps of interest to no one but me the winter of 2006-07 I saw this same title at local auction but in worse condition bring over $1000. Timing, and the right people at auction are everything.

Farmington,Maine: Knowleton & McLeary Co., 1928 This is a thick 563 pp book bound in dark green cloth with gilt titles. Titles are faded, book shows careful use. I find no marks, underlining, etc.

Mcclure, 1980 Nice copy inscribed and signed by the author. Jacket has some nicks, bookplate present.

Chicago: J Fairbanks & Co., 1880 Bound in reddish brown, almost purple beveled boards with black borders and decorations and gilt titles, fifteenth thousand. A sharp copy with traces of wear at the tips, foxing on the front pages through the title page and quite rarely elsewhere in the book.

Appleton, 1895 One of the Great Commanders series, decorated green cloth, lightly soiled. Spine ends show a little fraying, frontis has some foxing, an overall very good copy.
