Scattered foxing. Endpapers have small, multiple pencil or pen marks. Small water stain to the lower right corner of text block of about one half of the pages. Binding is tight and strong.Catharine Williams (1787-1872) lived most of her life in Rhode Island. Her most book, Fall River, chronicles an infamous incident in the town of Fall River, Massachusetts: the trial of a minister for the murder of a pregnant mill worker whom it was suspected he had seduced.
