Black cloth-covered boards with gold author/title on spine. Tight clean text block with faint 3/4" x 21/2" glue mark (?) on rfep (from security tag?), no other internal nor external markings nor attachments. Jacket has slight ink scuffing on inside from the black cover, otherwise fine.

Boni and Liverwright 1924. 358pp. Hardcover. Book Condition: Good. Jacket Condition: no jacket. Fiction. No edition / printing stated. Dark red cloth-covered boards with gold author/title on front and spine, worn but legible both places. Four tiny holes in rectangular pattern in flyleaf look like something was once attached there. Fabric at top of spine is worn and frayed, small (½") discoloration on front cover. Tight text block with no significant internal nor external markings nor attachments, clean considering its age, and with no significant signs of previous use. Paper slightly tanned. Presumably anyone interested in this book knows who Samuel Church was; as of 2016 the Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade had an interesting brief biography of him on their web site.

Alfred A. Knopf 1978 302pp. Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. Jacket Condition: near Fine. Green 1/4 cloth-covered spine with gold author/title, cream 3/4 paper-covered boards. Deckle front edge. Small, neat PO name and date on ffep, tight clean text block with no other internal nor external markings nor attachments (thus "VG"). Paper of text block and jacket is starting to tan (thus "near" Fine). Note: for those unfamiliar with this book, the "crossed-out" words on e.g. pages 59, 110, 145 were printed that way intentionally - they are not artifacts of a previous owner. This rather scarce Knopf (American) edition is in my opinion a better quality book (binding, paper) than British editions (e.g. Barrie & Jenkins). A quite decent copy of this title.

Tight binding, tight clean text block, no internal nor external markings nor attachments, no signs of previous use. Jacket likewise bright and clean, very slightly scuffed at top/bottom of spine (now in removable plastic sleeve). An attractive copy of this title.
