Chicago: King Size Publishing, Inc., 1953. First Edition First Printing. Soft cover. Good++/No Jacket. Digest - over 5 3/8" - 8 3/8" tall. Alex Schomburg (cover). Love the cover art here. Except for the flying saucers, it's reminiscent of Planet of the Apes. Works by: Evan HUnter, Irving Cox Jr., William Campbell Gault, A Bertram Chandler, Walt Sheldon, Cliford D Simak, Poul Anderson, Richard Matheson, Eric Frank Russell, Arthur G Stangland, Andrew North, H Russell Wakefield, James MacGregor. This is a gorgeous copy of a rather scarce sci-fi pulp. I grade as G++ based on the LIGHT toning to the pages, but otherwise this could be considered VG, especially considering it's 65+ years old. The binding is square and tight. The cover art is bright and sharp, as is the rear panel advertisement. There is MINOR edge rubbing and creasing to the front cover (see image). Internally, there are 5 faint pencil check marks on the table of contents, but otherwise no markings, no tears.… Read More
