Blue cloth is soiled on rear panel. The crown and foot of spine cloth is just starting to fray. Both interior hinges have a bit of exposed webbing (paper having pulled away), but still a very tight text block. Table of Contents page at gutter (only) has foxed slightly. Lovely publishers deckled fore-edge. A few spots of scattered foxing to margins (does not detract). 271 pages plus ten pages of publishers 'adverts' at rear. Protected in stiff mylar.

Author is best known for his "Green Mansions' (1904). A good looking volume.
