VG+ / VG-. 1947 Scribners, first edition (with "A"). Hardcover with dust jacket. Book is in good shape. Dust jacket shows wear along flap & spine folds + has a light stain near the spine edge. Basis for the 1949 Mervyn Leroy film starring James Mason and Barbara Stanwyck.

VG - VG+. 1969 Signet Y4206, second printing. Softcover. The black borders on the covers accentuate the minor chipping that exists. Book is square and sharp.

VG / VG- simon and schuster 1967. stated first printing. A youngster wrote his name & address on the FFEP. the jacket has a little chipping to the bottom edge + some general wear.

VG+ / VG+ stated first printing. Edited by Robert Scheer. It is a collection of essays and letters Cleaver wrote, mostly in 1968, while serving time in prison.A well preserved copy.

VG- / G+. 1937 Harpers, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. At some point in its long life, the dust jacket flaps must have been pasted down to the inside covers. Subsequently, someone tried (it appears relatively unsuccessfully) to perform surgery and remove the jacket. They got most of it off (see photos), but the flap edges are chewed up. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice copy - slight lean to spine; previous owner name whited out on inside covers (probably didn't want their name associated with the botched surgery?).

VG+ / VG. 1979 Wesleyan University Press, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Jacket shows wear at edges + flap/spine folds. Book nice and sharp. Cage's musings on music and dance written between 1973-1978.disregard the pink shade in a few of the photos - the camera has a mind of its own at times and decides to add a filter for some reason.

NF / VG+. 1961 Dodd, Mead, Book Club edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. From the guys (Bob Wade & Bill Miller) that brought you 'Touch of Evil'.

VG+. 1978 Bantam 12125-1, first printing. Softcover. Film tie-in novelization based on the John Carpenter screenplay. A couple of nicks to the cover, but overall a very nice copy which retains its gloss.
