On page 21 there is map showing the trails in the area; the most prominent being the Ben Avery trail. The 100,600 -acre Eagletail Mountains Wilderness is about 65 miles west of Phoenix, Arizona, in Maricopa, Yuma, and LaPaz counties. The wilderness includes 15 miles of the Eagletail Mountains ridgeland and Courthouse Rock to the north, Cemetery Ridge to the south, a a large desert plains area between the two ridgelines. Franks and Lambert do an exceptional job of presenting oil history with an array of historic photos. This is number four of the Montague History of Oil Series. Frontispiece is a photo of the Lakeview gusher at North Midway Field. The well is flowing 90,000 barrels per day and shown in mirror-effect across a large temporary lake of oil. A very nice signed copy.

Compiled by the Historical Activities Committee for the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Georgia. A nice keepsake.
