Spine is gently bumped to head and foot, title gilt fully legible. The hinges are strong with no evidence of cracking or starting. The front pastedown has a "W H Smiths Library Book Plate that has a stamp on it, no other stamps, markings or notations. The FEP has been neatly removed by the previous owner presumably this had a lending sheet or further stamps. Text block is clean, with light toning to edges, a little more pronounced to the top edge.
