All edges gilt. All of the numbered plates are present, but none have the artist's pencilled signature. The subscriber's list is not present. We believe that this is most likely an overrun of the Houghton Mifflin edition, bound up very handsomely indeed. Very Good+ binding.

Baker argued against pluralism's claim that God would not creat lifeless worlds. In this work: "There cannot ... be any absurdity in saying that all things were created for the sake of this inferior World, and the inhabitants there of, and they that have such thoughts of it, seem not to have consider'd, who it was that died to redeem it.".
