Many of Sullivan's masterful illustrations are reproduced, both from novels and from various periodicals. Book VG save for a couple of minor spots from non-archival tape. First printing of this notable Newberry Honor Book, a tale set in the future of increasingly troubled Zimbabwe. Fine in a near fine jacket (price clipped, a tiny bump to lower rear corner, perhaps a bit sunned to extremeties of jacket).

An overview of 7000 years of development in the ancient Near East from the beginning of settled life to the formation of the first regional states. Good to VG with a bit of wear to corners. NO highlighting or underlining, one or two very faint pencil marks in a couple margins. A perfectly serviceable copy. Previous owner's name on front endpaper

New York : Harcourt Brace, 1958. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Daugherty, James. A collection of Sandburg's poetry, per the flap, "gathered for young readers." Book is as-new with blue cloth boards and illustrated endpapers. Yellow jacket is price-clipped and shows wear along the spine, especially at the top and bottom. Small closed tear to the back of the jacket. A classic from the Illinois legend and multiple Pulitzer winner.

Bonanza Books, 1964. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. A lovely, unmarked copy of this profusely illustrated guide to the folk art of Pennsylvania. Book is unmarked, corners slightly bumped. Jacket has very light wear to edges and a bit of sunning.

Perhaps for fans of Oliver Sacks, two psychologists take a look at some highly odd people (self-proclaimed werewolves, those who believe they're being stalked by evil twins, compulsive hair pullers, et. al.). Near fine but for crease to cover and slight bend to lower corner. Unmarked.

The front free endpaper has been removed, no DJ but a bright colorful pictorial cover. Some minor scotch tape residue on rear board. Back cover states this is a Morrow Eagle library binding, hence binding is very tight. Solid, no marks or writing.

Internally wonderfull--perhaps slight toning to pages, but illustrations clean and bright throughout, no markings.
