Munich: Privately Printed at the Bremer Press, 1923. 455pp, [1], original quarter cloth and boards with original paper label to spine. Spine slightly dulled, label browned, minor splits to joints at head of spine, minor chipping to foot of spine, covers slightly faded to edges, corners bumped. Internally bright and clean. Number one hundred and eight of one hundred and fifty-five copies, 'numbered and signed' according to the colophon, but I can see no evidence of it being signed (presumably as issued?). Printed on Zanders handmade paper by The Bremer Press in Munich, with five hand-coloured double-page landscapes by Annette von Eckardt. First Edition. Quarter Cloth and Boards. Good+. Illus. by Lear, Edward. Folio. Limited Edition.

Spine rubbed with slight loss to gilt affecting a few letters, lower cover discoloured and with a large scratch running from head to foot. Previous owners book plate to reverse of front endpaper, occasional hint of foxing, otherwise internally quite bright and clean. With sixteen tissue guarded colour plates and forty-two illustrations to text by Rackham. Number four hundred and eighty-eight of five hundred copies, signed by Rackham to limitation leaf. Small amount of loss to first panel, some creasing and browning to spine, covers slightly splayed. Internally slightly browned and very lightly dust-stained to edges. Spine faded, rubbed to extremities especially outer joints and spine ends, corners bumped. Internally quite bright and clean. Ex-library, but no evidence of this.
