Eduard Ege lived in Munich ca. 1898, and was a student of Julius Diez at the Munich School of Applied Arts. He worked as an illustrator for the Georg M¸ller publishing house and the Drei Masken Verlag. A wonderful production. Scarce.

With 10 superb and expressive full-page color illustrations by Ehmke in what is now considered to be a groundbreaking new style termed, "The New Objectivity," (Neue Sachlichkeit) which emerged as a style in Germany in the 1920s as a challenge to Expressionism.
