An annotation note at the front discusses how the original 1932 radio broadcast of the play was from two volumes. This appears to be a working draft in which the author revised those two volumes into a single one volume work that was eventually published in 1939. Throughout the volume is a good deal of annotation and correction in the hand of the author, and there are several pages of notes both typed and manuscript at the front of the volume.
