A scene in a cake shop, with two ladies taking their departure after eating from two dandies, both of whom declare themselves unable to pay the bill. The two ladies thank the lads for "nice cakes." Women behind the counter says, "your sugar plums Sir that makes nine and six pence." The young man complain they have neither a brass or a copper to pay for their largess. Chips with some loss at head and nick at upper left margin.

Appendix of flowerless plants of Greenland. Index. Rink was a Danish geologist, one of the pioneers of glaciology, and the first to accurately describe the inland ice of Greenland. Rink, who first came to Greenland in 1848, spent 16 winters and 22 summers in the Arctic region, and became notable for Greenland's development. Becoming a Greenlandic scholar and administrator, he served as Royal Inspector of South Greenland and went on to become Director of the Royal Greenland Trading Department. Binding worn, chipping and rubbing to corners and backstrip extremities, spine faded.
