Owned by Queen Elizbeth The Queen Mother and ridden by Dick Francis. These images depict Devon Loch racing neck and neck against the lone racer 'EARLY MIST' (a former Grand National Winner) with one of the images showing them taking the final fence, with Devon Loch going on to win. Excellent sharp images, but the Press stamps on the rear are fading. Dated and with roneo'd (copied) info on the rear of both images. "Devon Loch was famous for the Grand National 1956 where he went to the front of the race with three jumps remaining, cleared the last half a length ahead of E.S.B., and took a commanding lead on the final stretch.
