Signed by Grumbach in black ink with her initials. Fine. Grumbach had a long and varied career as an editor, educator, novelist, memoirist, biographer, critic, essayist, and bookseller. She and her late partner, Sybil Pike, operated Wayward Books in Washington, DC, and later Sargentville, Maine.
