A historic and rare Bristol trade Catalogue. Peter Street was destroyed in the tragic German Blitz of Bristol in 1940 - 1941, it seems that the Cathay factory was also destroyed and all records were lost. The printer of this catalogue, Messrs Bennett Brothers works was also destroyed, but their records have been preserved in Bristol Archives.

A large number of the Clan LIne's ships were requisitioned by the British Government during the First World War. They were called "The Scots Navy". Of 62 ships at the outbreak of war, 28 were lost.Only two copies of this rarer edition held in the UK: National Maritime Museum and the City of London Guildhall, who both query the date of publication. Not held in the British Library. The more common Cassells reprint was published in 1924.
