Green cloth boards have orange lettering on the front and spine, plus a pictured light house on the front. The only flaw with this book is the base of the spine is slightly frayed. Otherwise 'as new'!

The front and back paper hinges have been repaired. The green cloth boards show only slight use; fading gilt on the front, dark spine top 1/4 inch, slight rub to the corners. First Edition in book form. VERY SCARCE GOOD+++

All others are as issued. The last paper hinge is repaired. Includes "Newhaven Fishwife" and "Highland Piper" photos. The boards are rubbed and have a chipped corner. No date or publisher given.

This book is NEAR FINE in a GOOD ++ jacket.

The only fault with this book is the fold-out frontispiece has a crease from being folded incorrectly; at the last one inch on the left side. The dust jacket has a one inch closed tear and the surface shows rubbing to the shine.

Pages unmarked and age toned with slight stain to half title page. Jacket has two tears on the margin and spine edge plus a fold on the front. Also the spine is faded. A VERY GOOD book in a GOOD+ jacket.
