The pages are also browning and have some foxing. The rear free endpaper is missing. There are also about 50 pages in the center of the text which have sprung a bit but all is still tight. All the text pages appear to be present and very readable. This appears to be a revised edition of an earlier version. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 466 pages .

The lower corners are also bumped. The interior is completely unmarked and tight. The dust jacket has a 1" chip to the lower, front edge. There is a 2" scrape and tear to the front panel. A 1" tear to the upper, rear edge. Chips to the corners and spine ends. Price clipped at the upper front, flap but has the proper price printed at the lower flap. Light cover soiling. There is a small marginal stain to a few leaves toward the front. No names or bookplates. In the original dust jacket although it is very worn. There is a large, triangular piece missing from the upper, rear, at the spine. Chipping at the upper and lower spine ends. Another larger piece missing from the upper, front. This affects half the title. A 3/4" chip to the lower, front edge. Wear along the fore edge folds, creasing. Soiling. Original price of $1.25 to the upper, front flap. The jacket is very scarce but poor. The first book written and illustrated by Cady. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

Flammarion. Very Good+ in Very Good dust jacket. (1936). First Edition. Softcover. Illustrated stapled wraps. With lovely illustrations in color by Rojankovsky. Covers with only minor wear. Without names or bookplate. The original tissue dust jacket is held to the inside covers with a spot of adhesive to the front and rear flaps. Has some minor chipping along the upper and lower edges and a couple of small chips to the spine. Laid in loose is a four-page folded Calendrier des Enfants for 1937 which appears to also be illustrated by Rohankovsky although it is not signed. Also laid in loose is a folded Calendrier for 1938. This one is printed in black on a light blue background. Each of these additional pieces is in fine condition. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall .
