Description:
New York: Joanna Cotler Books B.E. Trice, 2002. Limited DELUXE First Edition. Full leather. Fine. A beautiful and scarce Limited Deluxe Edition First Edition signed by Clive Barker on the limitation page and, which makes it scarce, instead of a designation one of 50 Deluxe copies, the limitation page states "Herb Yellin's Copy." Bound in the Deluxe binding of quarter-bound red leather with blue cloth with an image inset, titled in gold. With a matching blue cloth slipcase with gold titling and a cutout for the cover inset to show through. B.E. Trice Imprint on spine. A beautiful binding and both book and slipcase are in fine unread condition. It's hard to imagine that a publisher would reset the font to make this single imprint, but they did and it created a wonderful one-of-a kind edition for the late Herb Yellin who was the beloved founder and publisher of Lord John Press; he passed away in 2014 and this beautiful and scarce book is from his library.

Bound in full dark red leather with gold gilt cover designs and page edges, and a bound-in silk bookmark. Purchased directly from the publisher. One of only 1200 Limited edition copies, exact number not known due to the untouched shrinkwrap. John Le Carre is one of the world's most successful Cold War spy novelists and this is his 25th book, published at age 88. An impressive accomplishment and we are so glad. His books are detailed, readable, and should appeal to all generations. He is the Master of this type of spy novel. We love them. This story is about a veteran British agent who is asked to take on one last project during the time of Brexit and President Donald Trump. Darkly humorous but a thriller nonetheless.
