William S. Burroughs was the voice of a Beatnik generation and beyond. Presumably, this book earned its title from the fact that Burroughs father was the inventor of the original abacus adding machine! All of the 201 pages remain in clean, presentable condition with no inscriptions.The front of the cover shows the author in a typically deadpan pose saluting possibly his literary public against a backdrop of the American flag.
