Inside title page reads in part: "Season of 1892 - A Grand Tour Through The Yellowstone National Park With a Complete Round of all the Points of Interest to that Land of Marvels," etc. "and also to Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis, Niagara Falls, Etc..." Departs New York Sept. 5 & returns Sept. 17. The tour company was located at Union Square. The information is extensive. Near fine. Lower spine & adjacent area with older tape wrapped around. Rare item.

Mansfield & Camel's Hump, St. Albans, Adirondacks, & more, including brief descriptions of area railroads. Re-backed. Front hinge broken but reasonably closed by previous owner with archival material; same inside rear free leaf. Gilt bright; minor edgewear to covers. Text in vg condition; not foxed. We call this a good+ copy of a very scarce book usually found only ex-library.

Pictorial wraps. 32pp. Illustrated with nice images of important buildings, etc. Folding map in rear, "Plan of New York in 1808" (10" x 11 1/2") which is primarily lower Manhattan. A copy sold at auction a couple of years ago for $70+. Fine copy.

Buffalo NY: Buffalo Federation of Women's Clubs, 1970. First Thus. Soft cover. Collectible Near Fine. 1st printing thus. Small (4" x 5 1/2") printed & stapled blue wraps with vignette of a Bison on the cover. Fos of "Hull" in small writing on top front cover. (16pp). Contents include Purpose of Club, Past Presidents, Officers, Standing & Special Committees, Program list for years 1969-1970, and finally a roster of members with their addresses & telephone numbers. Near fine. Very scarce little item.

New York: Cafe' Chauveron, 1950. Soft cover. Good. Original menu of the famous restaurant. One sheet, folded, printing in blue and red lettering. Inserted is a blue and red "Miniature Sample Menu." We judge this to be from the 1950s, but are not for sure. Map of France on back. Browning to edges. This restaurant existed, according to our research, 1957-71. Good.

Richmond Hill: Men's Club of the Union Congregational Church, 1946. Soft cover. Very Good. 28th edition. Printed wraps with wire binding. 162pp (Classified Index begins on page 119). Abundant ads, including one encouraging donations to expand Jamaica Hospital. Inside front cover is full page ad for Clarence F. Simonsen Funeral Director; first page is full page Kew Korners Restaurant; inside back cover is full page Steele's Plumbing and Heating. Last page is "A Letter of Gratitude from Irving Nadelhaft for the support of his "Doctor's Pharmacy" drug store, with a statement of ethics (and a photo). Rear cover: Rogers Peet Company Makers of Fine Clothes. Second last page is list of personnel & assoc members of The Ushers' League of the church, Andrew W. Schultze, Pres. And etc. It is curious that a church men's club would publish a city, or in this case, a neighborhood directory. Richmond Hill is in the borough of Qweens. Moderate wear. Vg. A very scarce item!

The front board has an area where the brown is slightly faded, I suspect from a water spill. This sounds bad, but there is no warping or odor and the copy still grades even with this "very good." Dj has a short tape repair upper flap edge front panel and minor wear.

NY: Birdcage Bottom Books, 2021. First Edition. Soft cover. Collectible Fine. 1st printing as a separate. Pictorial wraps. (24pp). Interior subtitle is "a true tale of the Westboro Baptist Church." This is the author's account done in graphic illustration, comic book style. The pages have color-- pinks and off blues. You don't have to do much research to find out the particular brand of religion that masquerades as Christianity emanated from this corner of what otherwise must be the lovely city of Topeka, Kansas. This is the author's story of trying to stay on the right side of God as interpreted by the church and her father. Sad and disturbing. Fine condition. Copies very hard to locate.

Inscribed on ffep from someone at the Goodwill Hotel in Tacoma to "those brave, heroic men who are going forth to blot out the 'Beast of Berlin.'" The author recalls Indian Territory, Ft. Dodge, Ft. Laramie, the Sioux, "Unwritten history of the Custer massacre," Montana, Custer City, Deadwood, Portland, & much more. Adams cites many errors, but it's salty reading. Vg. 6-guns 2466, Howes Y27.
