Essays and Introductions is a First edition, Autobiographies is the 1961 Reprint, and Mythologies is a First Edition. Bound in lime green cloth with gilt tiles to each spine All exteriors are at least VG+ with only some minor crimping to spine ends and minimal other signs of wear. Gilt is bright. Insides are unmaked ( save for a neat gift inscription for the set), crisp and modest/even toning. Also laid in is a return post card to Macmillian for future mailings of new issues. Inside is unmarked, crisp, and tight. Top page edges a bit dust dulled. DJ is bright with minimal rubbing to the rear and around the edges.Quite nice. This copy is VG in a GOOD , unclipped ($3.00) DJ. Exterior has significant toning around the edges front and back, but minimal edge or spine end wear. Inside has significant toning where DJ was in contact with EPs ( front and back) showing thru on the first few and last few pges. Text is modestly, evenly toned. Unmarked and firmly bound. DJ has multiple tape repairs on the inside leaving one triangular open tear of about 1" x 1 1/4 " on the top back near the spine. Otherwise green DJ with white tiles is still rich and clean. with only modest other signs of wear. This edition by Reynal is SCARCE...only one other found on Abe as of December 2020. This is the story of the "Socialistic Society" created in New Harmony , Indiana, on two different occasions in the 1800's..
