SIGNED BY BOTH AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR on back of first illustrated page in blue ink "MAY McNEER" "LYND WARD". Dust jacket is Good. Same illustrations as boards, some tears on corners and edges, one small piece missing on lower right corner of cover. Blue sticker on spine "Dolphin Binding". Marked as fifth edition. Many black/brown/white illustrations throughout. Beautiful signed children's book, rare signed by both author and illustrator..
