The binding itself is not affected, and the damage is minor. The book is a visual treat, with a terrific photo of a fan on every page. There is a foreword and a postscript in English and the fans have English titles as well as Chinese. The rest of the text is in Chinese.There is a gift inscription in English on the front flyleaf, but no other signs of use. The publication date is 1993, but I am unable to determine the publisher.
