Fisheries Biologist who passed away in 2002). This limited edition was printed on fine laid paper, and it’s a beautiful reprint of the 1907 first edition published by Horace Cox, London. The book is important for many reasons - it was written by a man who had an abiding interest in fishing as much of the lower province's waters as he was able, and to accurately describe it - it was the first written description of playing and later catching steelhead on the Thompson River and its tributaries.
