White Rock, British Columbia. Pices Press. 1997. Octavo (9 x 6). 148 pp. Deluxe Edition. This is Letter J of 26 lettered copies published. Signed by W. Richard "Ric" Olmsted, and publisher, Peter Addison, on the half-title. Foreword by Arthur Lingren, signed by him. With a ten page Afterword by Ric Olmsted (Ric was a B. C. Fisheries Biologist who passed away in 2002). This limited edition was printed on fine laid paper, and it’s a beautiful reprint of the 1907 first edition published by Horace Cox, London. Dr. Lambert's warning of the impending destruction of fish habitat by commercial interests, and his belief that the government should play a role in protecting it. The… Read More
