Love, Stirling", on the free fry leaf.

Blue boards lightly soiled and shelfworn, with spine ends beginning to chip and edge points gently bumped and worn to boards.  Internally, an old bookseller ticket to bottom of 1st free end-page with a previous owners penciled notation to top outside edge of verso of 1st free end-page, as well as an inked signature to the top of the title page. Otherwise, aside from light age-toning, a very good clean copy. The binding is tight but front hinge has cracked, with rear intact.

Bottom edge-points are slightly bumped. Spine is moderately faded. Interior is free of stray markings, though there is some foxing throughout with some soiling to the plates. Overall, a very good copy.

Page edges soiled.  Internally, end pages lightly age-toned with a few penciled bookseller remarks to 1st free end-page, otherwise a very good, clean copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact. A very good clean copy.
