There are 2 small letters and 2 small numbers, in ink, on the front flyleaf, the front pastedown has remnants of where the card pocket was glued, although the paper is not torn, there are two small green spots on the next page, and the back flyleaf has a small area of ink scribbles, else very good. The book is unpaginated, and the pages which are unmarked and uncreased with three pages having short closed tears near the bottom binding, the half-title page and one other having a piece of tape on both sides, and one other page having a small stain at the bottom next to the binding. This is the 4th book in the 2nd series of the Rover Boys Adventures which were written by Edward Stratemeyer as Arthur Winfield. According to all the information I could find, it was published in 1920, although it appears that there never was one in the book. Each volume had a preface from Edward Stratemeyer himself, thanking his readers and touting the other books. Brown cloth covers with red and dark brown printing on the front and spine. Wear on the edges, corners and spine top/bottom and edges consistent with a book of this age.
