Great Britain: Unknown Author and Publisher not specified but " Produced and printed entirely in The British Isles" stated on title page. Not Dated, probably early 1940's but could be earlier. pp32. Illustrated throughout with black line drawings (some full page) colour printed in red. Thick orange card covers with picture of girl with donkey on front and title in green letters. Stapled binding staples rusted. Wear and rubbing to spine edge and light surface creasing to covers. Slivers cut from front margin of last two leaves not affecting the text. Owners name in pencil of top margin of title page.

White rear board lightly spotted. A little light rubbing to corners. page margins lightly tanned. Pages 76 and 77 have been stuck together in their upper quadrants resulting in some surface loss and staining to upper fore edge of page 77. Contemporary (Xmas 1941) gift inscription on front endpaper. Good.
