DEPRESSION

Ungerer, Tomi

  • Quantity available: 1
Ardsley, NY: Geigy Pharmaceuticals, 1972. First edition and, we assume, the only one. Appears to be a promotional piece for an anti-depressant, apparently issued as a give-away for a pharmaceuticals conference. COLOR ILLUSTRATIONS BY UNGERER, the prolific French illustrator of children's books (he is the recipient of the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award) and of material for adults, including for books, magazines, posters, etc. 36 pages; in blue, stiff, 8 1/2 x 11 inch paperwraps. Illustrated with 36 color drawings and two in black-and-white (some blank pages and some pages with multiple illustrations); text "handwritten" (i.e., reproduced, we assume from Ungerer handwriting but not actually handwritten, not signed).
