Quail & Warner, 1901 Huge folio with 40 vintage illustrations by Clarence Frederick Underwood. Signed by the publisher Quail & Warner, a limited edition of 100 this being number 71. A very rare folio , hard to find. This one is complete all 40 illustrations are there. Illustrations have no stains or foxing but do have some corner bends. The brown cloth folio has stains seen in the photo and edgewear , would rate the cloth covered folio as fairr. A great find for the C. F. Underwood collector. These are very large illustrations ( 16 1/2" x 14 ") would look really nice framed, but probably wouldn't want to break up the set. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Contributor

New York: Harcourt , Brace And Company, 1935 Bright blue cloth boards, faded spine, cloth broken bottom corner tip and top corner tip. Cracked inner spine.Inscribed by the illustrator Reginald Birch with a drawing of a woman with an angle playing instrument. The
illustration has creases and some waves but not directly on the illustration but some on the inscription. Color of illustration has bled
through to the back of the page.

Book and dust jacket look very good, Inside pages clean and unmarked, no edge tears to the dust jacket. corners and edge wear. page 43/ 44 has a bottom tear of 4 " that does get into two of the dolls feet. Some inch tears and chips to the page bottoms on some of the pages.
