Tennyson obtained an injunction stopping sales of the book, as well as a small financial settlement from Hotten. Compiled and edited by James Dykes Campbell (1838-95), the Scottish merchant, writer, and Coleridge biographer. Small octavo: viii, 112 p. Original printed blue paper wrappers. The edges are uncut and unopened. Just the slightest hint of foxing to the contents; else a crisp and bright example. Housed in a custom one-quarter blue morocco over blue cloth clamshell box.
