Publio Terencio Afro (en latín, Publius Terentius Afer) fue un autor de comedias romano. Sus comedias se estrenaron entre 170 y 160 a. C. A lo largo de su vida escribió seis obras, todas conservadas.
Terencio murió abruptamente a los 25 años de edad, tal vez en Grecia o de camino a Roma, tal vez por enfermedad o tal vez por un naufragio.
