This is a letter to Lillie Kellam written in his capacity as Managing Editor. 6 ¾ x 9 ½ inches. Tanning to paper is uniform and, in fact, quite attractive. Perhaps the paper was originally off-white. Three creases where it was folded for mailing plus a small crease in the lower left corner. Otherwise it is in excellent condition. Towne (1877-1949) was an able poet, editor, memoirist, essayist, etc. He wrote in many genres and achieved considerable acclaim in his lifetime.
