This book was published at the top of the career of the author, rare first edition. Original publisher's cloth, white labeling to the spine. Engraved plate on frontispiece. Heavy dusty on boards, rubbed label, cracked along front edge, wear on edges, corners rubbed, free endpaper with small tears between hinge. Tanned on edges, deckle, internally browning with minor spotting. Small tear on margin 171/172 page. .
