NB The two vols were not published contemporaneously the preface to Vol II stating there was an interval of 15 years between the writing of Parts I & II and the appearance of Parts III -IV. There is no title page to Vol II - but no evidence from the binding that this has been lost or removed and we therefore believe the volume to be as published. No doubt greater minds than ours will correct if that not be the case.
