Book & Dj. were in Very Fine Condition (very little wear) but book was stored improperly and the top edges of the pages got bent in Act Three, Scenes 10 & 11. First Edition, top page edges are purple.

Tight binding, like new with a little bit of shelf wear to softcover wraps.

Inside Fine Creaks when shut but bookplate laid inside of cover. Illustrated cover, no dust jacket. Wear along spine, starting to come apart for several inches on front side, small tear top of spine, rubbed edges & corners.

Inside Near Fine, pages have discolored from age. No dust jacket. Cover VG, bottom of spine has wear. A couple of dirt spots on the cover, very minor edge wear. States this volume is issued for sale in paper covers only. (This is a hardcover). Also state fortieth thousand in regards to printing. Sixe 5 X 7 3/8".

Personalized on front page, see photo. No dj. worn along edges & corners, some discoloration and spots of color worn off. 5/8" top layer of paper torn off on front end page. One page has a tear, see photo.

New with Slight shelfware. Actual photos.

First Edition with First Printing Line. Boards are faded along the top edge and have some small bump indents along the bottom edge. A scrape at one spot along the foredge. Somewhat tight binding. Dust jacket is very faded at the spine with some small tears at spine ends and front corners. There are movement marks and a Krochs & Brentano's price sticker on the backside. The first edition hardcover is starting to become scarce. The founder of Gestalt Therapy dealt with the here and now rather than what happened to you in childhood. This is Fritz Perl's biography. He died in 1970.
