Boards are flat with some sunning to marble effect on both volumes, though outers are flat and corners sharp. Decorated end papers are free of inscriptions. Contents which include b/w engavings with tissue guards appear unread. Foxing, more prevalent in Volume 1 is evident around the margins of earlier folios and on the fore-edges.
