Eliot's play was produced at the 1935 Canterbury Festival and an acting copy was printed (although I have not seen a copy of this for sale). Faber and Faber printed a hardcover version with some revisions by the author, probably in 1936. The American edition offered for sale here may have been simultaneous. The price on this (torn) DJ is $1.25 (also mentioned on back of DJ) which is less than I have seen on other copies. This copy includes an inked note: "Louise Boynton, Vassar College, March 1938) and a bookplate y Patricia Austin, bot on the inside of the front cover.

Euclid Freed from Every Fleck, or a geometric endeavor in which are established the foundation principles of universal geometry" (published in Milan in 1733) was Saccheri's re-do of Euclid that was intended to demonstrate that the Fifth or Parallel Postulate of Euclid is valid, but which modern scholars recognize as the first (albeit unwitting) exposition of a non-Euclidean geometry. This volume features the original Latin on the versos and the translation on the rectos. Only flaw is that the label on the spine has chipped and is unreadable as a result
