Board of Education, 1924. Wraps. Fair. Vol III: Enamels and Glass pp 102 + 48pp monochrome half-tone plates. No writing, but the wrappers are in a bad way, particularly the spine, which only has a small thin strip of paper left with evidence of prior taping to the edges of the covers that were attached to it. The sewn gathers are holding up, but the spine will need reinforcement to keep it from falling apart. Some soil to covers and toning to pages, but no damage aside from spine issue. No writing, and contents intact.

Color frontis, b & w illustrations throughout. Some loss to the cloth at head and tail of spine, rubbed edges, uneven wear to foredge of text block. Front fep clipped. Still a solid working copy. 8vo; 339 pages. Red cloth titled in gilt; top edge gilt.

Near Fine Reddish brown genuine leather, with elegant gilt design to boards, gilded page-edges, and endpapers of silk-moire fabric. The classic hubbed spines of six raised bands have 22K gold accents and there is a permanent satin ribbon page marker. The pages are thread-sewn for strength and durability, have long-lasting, acid-neutral, and archival quality paper. Loose Easton Press bookplate laid in.
