A large book with color charts and graphs. There has been margin notes on pink post-it notes, which have left behind a little pink residue and some slight bleed-through. There are also a few instances of underlining in places.

Book is in great condition, the dust jacket not so much (see photos). This is one man's story about fighting back against Joe McCarthy and the Red Scare of the 1950s.

Primary literature in ornithology. Papers from an International Symposium held in October of 1980, in Asilomar, CA. Cover has a few small creases and is a bit faded, especially over the spine. Owner's name on the front cover. The table of contents runs to five full pages. This book will ship at almost three pounds. Excess shipping costs are included in the list price. A rare book.

This book is in really poor condition. It has been well used and well loved. It is also 117 years old, so it has the right to be worn. Many pages are torn, some are not intact. If you are looking for music played at the turn of the 20th century, this is one reference. Just handle with care. A very rare book.

Blue cloth cover is coming loose from the binding, front and back, but not completely detached. Peeling off the lower corner of the spine as well, as shown in photo #1. Pages are clean and tight, with no sign of notes or underlining. Owner's name on each of the first four pages. That owner was Gertrude Pritchard, apparently a schoolteacher in England early in the twentieth century. I acquired a number of her books from an estate sale in Seattle recently, and have gathered them in a catalogue entitled "Pritchard Library".

This book has been rebound, with salvageable portions of the original cover glued to the new binding. Looks like a very good job was done of it. The red in the photos is the new material, the original stuff is brown. The pages are all original inside the new endpapers and appear tight and intact, with minor stains, tanning and very light foxing. Illustrated. A rare book, rebound or not.

First edition. Date on the cover page and the letter A on the copyright page. No dust jacket. Tan fabric covered boards with green print and decoration on the front and spine. The fabric is darkened over the spine and shows very little edge wear. Binding is solid with no hinge splits. The pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with slight age-tanning. The only flaw is a manufacturing error where three sheets, starting at page 105, got creased between the printing and the binding. This meant that they didn't get cut correctly and are a bit wider than the rest of the pages (see photos #4 - 5). Still readable, as all the words are there.

First edition, 8th printing. Spiral bound. Thirty recipes with kids' palates in mind. Virtually no signs of wear, like new.

First edition. Very rare book. Dust jacket has wear at the edges, corners and the head and tail of the spine, has some discoloration on the rear and shows some sign of exposure to moisture. The cover has off-white fabric with seasonally appropriate red and green decoration and print. The fabric is soiled/stained but shows no significant edge wear. The endpapers are seasonally decorated green paper, while more seasonal decoration borders each page. Pages are clean, tight and unmarked, with no indication of having been touched by the aforementioned moisture.

Very little wear to book or dust jacket. The binding is solid, the pages clean and tight. Signed by the author on the title page. It may have never been read. A memoir of a thrid generation English farmer.

92 pages, with lots of black and white photography. Cover and first few pages have suffered some cuts, of which only a few have been repaired with tape (see photo #4). Beyond page nine in the text, the rest are intact. Photo #4 shows a busy highway and talks about most cars costing under $700. The flow chart of fractional distillation of crude oil (photo #8) is impressive and not really very far off from what is done today. A quite rare book. Priced low due to the damage.

Book shows quite a bit of wear. Binding is weak, with the first seven sheets partially loose. Breaks in a few places. Some history, some instruction, and a lot of songs. Does not seem to be connected with THE White House. Cover quite worn. No publisher given. Page 453 is torn 2/3 way down the page. Quite rare.

The first of four books in the series. Very little wear. A novel about a manuscript that predicted a new age for the world beginning in the late 20th century. (I'd insert my skepticism here, but I am trying to sell this book.)

Paper covered boards with fabric over teh spine, showing wear in all those places you would expect it to, especially at the corners. Binding is solid. Endpapers have pencil marks and there are a few small pencil marks throughout the pages. The pages are tight and bright. Page 127 has been torn in a couple places, as shown in the last photo. A rare book. Originally published in 1884.

Little wear. There are a few spine creases, but the 400 pages remain tight and intact. Slight bends to a couple of corners. Lauren summons a sister, from the demons of Hell. They are like identical twins, except for the fact that one is pure evil.

Shows a mild amount of wear, mainly at the corners and edges. The text on the front cover has mostly been rubbed away. Blue fabric cover is slightly faded over the spine and has a pink stain on the rear (see photo #2). This stain does not wipe away and is not sticky. Pages are clean and tight, with a small amount of brown spotting on the first few pages. The front endpaper is missing over the title page, you can see the torn edges at the lower left of photo #4. Appears to be a first edition based on the cover art and publication date. Priced in the lower third of the range.
