Fair album, with deep scratches to both side, in a Good sleeve with wear and chipping along seams, dampstain to rear sleeve. Modern 8" x 10" photo of Sun Ra laid in. A signed record of a major free jazz work by the eccentric jazz band leader, composer, and poet who maintained that he was from Saturn.

Though not marked as such, this copy is from the estate of Pat Patrick, longtime saxophonist for the Arkestra. Bound in publisher's original pale blue wraps stamped in dark green. Top corner of title page is creased in a binder's error, else Fine. A work of poetry by the composer, bandleader, and pianist known as Sun Ra, a man in a class of his own because, according to him, he was from Saturn. His music spanned a wide variety of genres from free jazz to proto-hip-hop, bebop, funk, and noise. The true first printing is scarce.

Signed by Yitzhak Rabin and inscribed to former owners in the year of publication. Signed by the fifth prime minister of Israel, who served from 1974-77, and again from 1992 until he was assassinated in 1995.

Publisher's maroon cloth, recased with spine laid down, lettered in gilt and black, all edges gilt. Very Good+ with wear along edges, exposed tips, small corner chip to second blank. A few tiny stains to contents but no foxing, very bright internally. Recased binding is quite sturdy as well. A French examination of ornament throughout the ages with beautiful chromolithographed plates.

Copy #537 of 550 copies in the limited edition signed by Arthur Rackham. Fine in Very Good original slipcase with small split along bottom edge, light wear. A very nice copy. Cloth shows marking, soiling, light edge wear and toning. A lovely copy overall, signed by Rackham on the limitation page.

A few pieces of ephemera and newspaper articles laid in such as certificate of service for locomotive engineer Robert B. Includes a lot of antifascist historical research such as part two of scholar Jeffrey Bale's essay on right-wing terrorism and the extraparliamentary left in post-WWII Europe, Peter Dale Scott (coiner of the much-abused term "deep politics") on the US and the Indonesian genocide, and David Teacher on Le Cercle. Some of the sharpest writers chronicling the hidden or scandalous aspects of Western intelligence services' Cold War endeavors wrote for the newsletter at this time.

Bound in publisher's original charcoal cloth ruled in blind with spine tittles stamped in gilt. Very Good. Light bowing to boards, light staining and light fraying to cloth. Front and rear inner hinges reinforced. Former owner name in colored pencil to half-title page and mark to margin of preface,several end pages lightly creased. Ramsay was a Scottish chemist who discovered noble gases and received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1904 in recognition for the discovery of the inert gaseous elements in air.

The first official history of the motion picture as written by film journalism Terry Ramsey, presenting a clear picture of the early development of film as seen from the Edison camp. A beautiful copy of a set which often turns up much worse for wear.
