The book is in nice condition with no soiling, clean, tiny bump tips corners, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, solid binding, probably never read. This book was issued without dust jacket (ie, the publisher did not create a dust jacket for any copy of this book). The book measures 248mm tall x 175mm, and has 240 pages, many portrait photos (most are in color), several color landscape photos, ascent data tables, bibliography, index. Work conditions and considerations for climbing Sherpas, some anthropological study, some climbing history, and a big section giving brief biographical information and climbing history (with portrait photo) of about 300 climbing Sherpas.
